The Cincinnati Bengals are expecting defensive end Myles Murphy to miss about four-to-six weeks with a knee sprain, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Thursday.
Murphy was carted to the locker room toward the end of Tuesday's joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts after he went down following a play.
Throughout training camp, Murphy had been a key piece of Cincinnati's edge rusher rotation, especially as starters Trey Hendrickson and Sam Hubbard battled injuries.
Murphy was the team's first-round pick in 2023 and played on 28.
