Training camp has wrapped up, and so too will the preseason this week. That means we now have a better idea of what the Cincinnati Bengals will look like when the 2019 NFL season officially begins in September.
While there have certainly been some bright spots through eight months of the Zac Taylor era, there are also some glaring concerns with just four weeks until the regular season kicks off in Seattle.
After the Bengals’ defense struggled mightily in 2018, mainly due to the linebackers, we’ve still not seen much proof that they’ve made improvements, though it’s hard to gauge how good they can really be until we’ve got several preseason games to evaluate.
