More signs the Bengals want quarterback Andy Dalton to be in an up-tempo offense like the one they used in the last two victories.
Their first staff addition in the biggest overhaul of head coach Marvin Lewis’ 16 seasons could be veteran NFL wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell, a disciple of fast-paced guru Chip Kelly. Alex Marvez of Sirius NFL Radio and The Sporting News has tweeted the Bengals have interviewed Bicknell, the Eagles receivers coach when Bengals offensive coordinator Bill Lazor coached the quarterbacks in Philadelphia for Kelly in 2013.
Bicknell, 48, who spent last season at Baylor, has coached three positions on offense during ten seasons in the NFL.
