Should the Bengals pursue Larry Ogunjobi?

Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday. The eight-year veteran spent the last three seasons with the Steelers after spending 2021 with Cincinnati.

Ogunjobi had 1.5 sacks and 41 tackles in 2024, and while he might not be the player he once was, the Bengals could pursue a reunion. Pairing Ogunjobi with the newly resigned BJ Hill would reunite two important pieces of the 2021 Bengals defense that reached the Super Bowl.

Familiarity is something the Bengals front office has shown to value, so the Bengals will likely at least explore the idea, but Ogunjobi will likely want to explore the market and see what is out there as he gets later in his career.
