The Cincinnati Bengals must get their roster down to 53 players by Tuesday at 4 pm ET, so a host of players will be cut over the next 24 hours.
Defensive end Justin Blazek is the latest player to receive a pink slip. The team announced on Monday that Blazek had been waived.
A 2024 undrafted free agent out of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Blazek was a big-time pass-rusher at the Division III level. The 6-foot-3, 252-pound defender racked up 118 tackles, 29 tackles for loss, and 17.5 sacks over his final two seasons (21 games) of college football.
