In large part because the Cincinnati Bengals missed the playoffs after a 9-8 campaign, Joe Burrow, who put together an incredible season, will likely not win the NFL MVP Award.
Burrow led the NFL in passing yards (4,918) and touchdown passes (49) and ranked fourth in completion percentage (70.6%). However, the NFL’s most prestigious individual honor will likely go to Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens or Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.
If former NBA legend and fellow LSU Tiger Shaquille O’Neal had it his way, it would be Burrow taking home the MVP Award.
