The Cincinnati Bengals face the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium later this afternoon in an attempt to even their record at 1-1, but before we can sit back and be stressed out through enjoy the game, there’s some frustrating breaking “news” to talk about.
Late Friday night ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that not only was star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase done negotiating with the team until the 2024 season is over, but he feels mislead by the franchise after not being able to reach an extension this offseason.
“According to sources, the star wide receiver believes the Bengals misled him when they told him at the end of last season, and again during the offseason, he would get an extension that ultimately did not happen,” Schefter wrote.
