The most high-profile move the Bengals are expected to make this Cutdown day came early Saturday afternoon when reports surfaced they released defensive tackle Devon Still.
At least one other defensive lineman figures to be released when the Bengals announce their cuts by 4 p.m. Saturday, yet they could keep as many as 10 down linemen and as few as eight offensive linemen as they construct the 53-man roster.
But the big news, although not, surprising, is the release of Still. He was released on last year’s Cutdown day, but was signed to the practice squad, an option he no longer has.
