Former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis could be back on the NFL sidelines as early as next year, according to several reports.
The 61-year-old coach is reportedly a candidate for the opening with the Washington Redskins and might have already met with owner Dan Snyder. Lewis was the Redskins' Defensive Coordinator in 2002
Lewis and the Bengals parted ways after the 2018 season and he's been on Herm Edwards' staff at Arizona State this season.
He is the winningest coach in Bengals' history with a 131-122-3 regular-season record. Lewis' tenure in Cincinnati saw four AFC North titles, seven playoff appearances (0-7 record) as well as him being named the 2009 AP Coach of the Year.
