After a series of misses to fill the defensive coordinator opening, the Cincinnati Bengals and head coach Zac Taylor appear to be blocked from interviewing a potential candidate.
The New Orleans Saints plan to deny the Bengals the opportunity to speak with secondary coach Aaron Glenn, according to an NFL Network report.
The Bengals requested to interview Glenn, a hot name in coaching circles who previously had a prolific NFL playing career, on Thursday.
Todd Grantham declined the Bengals offer to be DC and opted to remain at the University of Florida after interviewing for the position over the course of two days earlier this week.
