Shortly after visiting the club that drafted him No. 6 overall in the 2009 NFL draft, free agent offensive tackle Andre Smith has reportedly decided to come back to Cincinnati and signed with the Bengals.
Smith, 30, chose to return to the Bengals despite what The Enquirer can confirm was a strong push from Buffalo to sign him.
The tackle left the Bengals last offseason and signed a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings.
Expected to help anchor the offensive line on the right side for the Vikings and head coach Mike Zimmer, Smith suffered a triceps injury after just four games and was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
