CINCINNATI -- An Ohio prosecutor told The Cincinnati Enquirer that he wants to know what punishment the NFL will hand Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones before deciding whether to proceed with the case.
A grand jury was scheduled to convene at 10:30 a.m. on Friday morning to decide whether to proceed against Jones, who faces misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, assault, obstructing official business and a felony charge of harassment with a bodily substance stemming from a Jan. 3 arrest.
But that could be on hold if Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deter waits on the NFL's potential punishment.
