The Cincinnati Bengals invested over $39 million into Paycor Stadium this offseason after announcing that they plan to do over $100 million in upgrades in the coming years. This year, that included a redone locker room for players, improvements to training facilities and new FieldTurf CORE system for the stadium.
The new playing surface looks great, but the team may soon have to remove it altogether.
On Tuesday, July 30th, Ohio lawmakers are expected to introduce a bill that would require all professional sports teams in the state to have playing surfaces that are at least 90% natural grass.
