Post-practice hits: Dunlap on loose

The Bengals went full pads for the first time Monday in front of an estimated crowd of 1,100 at the Paul Brown Stadium practice fields and the defense carried the day in the final 11-on-11 drill of the workout.

It was highlighted by back-to-back sacks from left end Carlos Dunlap working against right tackle Andre Smith. Earlier in the day when the Bengals had a live half-line drill to work on the running game, Smith and left tackle Andrew Whitworth offered some powerful blocks.
