Pittsburgh activates T.J. Watt, downgrades Minkah Fitzpatrick for Week 10 vs. New Orleans

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Saturday that they activated linebacker T.J. Watt to the active roster, downgraded safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to out with appendicitis for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, and placed cornerback and former Cincinnati Bengals first-round pick William Jackson III on the Reserve/Injured List with a back injury.

The Bengals have a bye, but their next game is against the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Nov. 20.

Watt hasn't played since he suffered a torn pec in a season-opening overtime win against the Bengals at Paycor Stadium.

Fitzpatrick, named AFC Defensive Player of the Week in Week 1 thanks in part to his pick-6 of Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow on Cincinnati's first offensive series, was not fined for either of his hits to the heads of defenseless players that drew unnecessary-roughness penalties in that game.
