The Cincinnati Bengals had a fairly active offseason which included losing long-time running back Joe Mixon and then dominant defensive tackle DJ Reader.
Both of those were difficult loses for the franchise, but Cincinnati replaced them well by adding Sheldon Rankins and Zach Moss to the mix. However, neither of those additions were crowned the best move by Cincinnati this offseason.
That was reserved for Amarius Mims, the team’s first-round pick, who was taken with the 18th pick. Mims is a tackle from the University of Georgia, which many didn’t love due to his lack of on-field tape in college.
