Peerman practicing; Rookie Jackson to IR

The Bengals are bringing back Pro Bowl special teamer Cedric Peerman off injured reserve and putting first-round pick William Jackson on injured reserve for the rest of the year.

They had a choice between activating Peerman, a seventh-year running back heading into free agency who broke his arm in the pre-season finale, and Jackson, the rookie cornerback from Houston who tore his pectoral muscle in the first week of training camp.

In bringing back the veteran Peerman and icing the rookie Jackson, the Bengals are indicating they are still all in on this season even with a 3-6-1 record.
