Paul Guenther makes his case for Vontaze Burfict's Pro Bowl bid

CINCINNATI -- With fan voting for the 2016 Pro Bowl ending on Tuesday, Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Paul Guenther made his pitch for one of his players: Vontaze Burfict.

"You tell me what linebacker is playing at a higher level right now in the NFL," he said. "There is none."

Burfict has 92 total tackles, two sacks, seven pass deflections, a forced fumble and two interceptions this season.

Although Burfict made the Pro Bowl in 2013, his path to the Pro Bowl this season could be more difficult. He missed the first three games while serving a suspension for repeated violations of player safety.
