When fans looked at this matchup between the Bengals and Dolphins on the schedule way back at the beginning of the season, many were highly anticipating the first entry in the Joe Burrow vs. Tua Tagovailoa.
Before Tagovailoa’s injury when he played for Alabama in 2019, there was a fierce debate in whether he or Burrow should be the first overall pick, so obviously these two will be compared very closely during their time in the NFL.
Unfortunately, due to Burrow’s ACL injury, we were robbed of this great matchup. Instead, we get to watch Brandon Allen make his second start for Cincinnati after the offense looked rough (and that is being kind) for all but one drive in Week 12.
