The Cincinnati Bengals have bolstered their running back depth after placing Jeremy Hill on injured reserve over the weekend.
On Tuesday, the team announced that running back Brian Hill had been signed to the 53-man roster. He was previously on the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad before being signed by Cincinnati on Tuesday.
To make room for Hill, the team waived linebacker Hardy Nickerson. The Bengals also signed cornerback Sojourn Shelton to the practice squad.
Hill made Atlanta’s 53-player roster to start the season and played on special teams in one game (Week 4).
