Today is one of the toughest days on the NFL calendar.
Black Monday, the first day after the regular season concludes, is when most coaching firings are made. Some of the coaches firmly on the hot seat include Doug Marrone (Jacksonville Jaguars), Antonio Pierce (Las Vegas Raiders), and Brian Daboll (New York Giants).
For the Bengals, no change will be made at head coach, but could we see some assistant coaches let go? Just because they don’t happen today doesn’t mean they won’t eventually be made, but today is usually when most coaching decisions are made, so it’s going to be a very busy day across the league for teams who aren’t in the NFL Playoffs.
