One of the darkest days in NFL coaching is today in the form of Black Monday, which is typically when we see coaches learn their fates for next season.
The Cincinnati Bengals figure to be one of the NFL’s most active teams today, as at least four assistant coaches are expected to be relieved of their duties today, including offensive line coach Jim Turner and defensive line coach Nick Eason.
There’s also the potential for defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo to lose his job after Sunday’s 38-3 debacle vs. the Ravens, who nearly broke an 87-year-old NFL record for rushing yards in a single game, though they still broke the franchise record for that with 404 yards.
