The Cincinnati Bengals trimmed their roster down to 53 players but to do so, they had to cut notable players. Whether these players had a standout performance or two (or three) in preseason or saw their stock take a hit, the Bengals decided to cut these guys.
The hope now is that they’ll clear waivers and the Bengals will be able to keep them on their practice squad.

While Jacques Patrick might not have been considered a surprising player to get cut, it’s still a disappointment for fans.
