The deals are done for Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, which means the Cincinnati Bengals will next look to lock up Trey Hendrickson.
According to NFL insider Dianna Russini, the Bengals are now focused on getting an extension done for Hendrickson.
“Cincinnati is working to retain Trey Hendrickson and discussions are ongoing between the two sides,” Russini wrote on Twitter. “The Bengals are attempting to do what many in the league thought difficult and keep — and pay — all three of their stars.”
The 30-year-old Hendrickson is expected to get a deal that pays him around $30 million annually, but it’s possible he’ll take a small discount to remain in Cincinnati in hopes of helping his team better compete for a Super Bowl.
