Cincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown made it clear with the call for a head-coaching transition. The former coach, Marvin Lewis, said it out loud in his late December sendoff. The new coach, Zac Taylor, confirmed the feeling Tuesday during his introduction press conference.
Now was the the time for the franchise to change.
"Marvin is my friend, and I’m not going to get in to any comments that would seem to any way disparage him," said Brown while sitting alongside Taylor and Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin at the podium Tuesday.
