Media rips Bengals for poor free agency showing

The Cincinnati Bengals have made some moves since the start of the NFL’s legal tampering period.

They signed nose tackle TJ Slayton from the Green Bay Packers, linebacker Oren Burks from the Philadelphia Eagles and brought running back Samaje Perine back from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Players from 2024 who were retained include offensive lineman Cody Ford, tight end Mike Gesicki, defensive tackle BJ Hill, cornerback Marco Wilson, and defensive end Joseph Ossai.

While they have been active, they haven’t made any real splash signings and some media outlets are disappointed in their efforts at this point.
