Marvin Lewis relayed a piece of good news in the wake of growing concern around A.J. Green's toe injury.
Lewis stated on Monday that Green did not need to have surgery and will be back this season.
"A.J. will be fine," Lewis said.
Green received a second opinion from renowned foot specialist, Dr. Robert Anderson, on Monday. Lewis said this wasn't groundbreaking news for them, but this was all just being completely sure on the diagnosis.
"Well, we pretty much kind of knew that, but we just wanted to, you know, touch all bases," Lewis said.
