In the past, we’ve seen this type of thing crop up. There would be an arrest. There would be outcry. There would be no comment.
Eventually, the phrase, “we will let the judicial process play out,” would enter the equation. The team hasn’t had many of these in recent years, but their ugly run from the mid-2000s and Adam Jones’ public transgressions still carry the national torch.
Having not gone through this with Zac Taylor before, one had to wonder, when running back Mark Walton’s third arrest in three months surfaced this past week, if the old model would follow for the Bengals.
