One of Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis’ pet expressions down through the years has been “Jones Junior High.” As in, that’s a long way from the National Football League.
So let it be known that for the last two games of this lost season Jones Junior High is officially closed.
And, the suggestion is that Lewis is ready to come back for a 15th season and become just the 29th man in history to be an NFL head coach for that long.
“No,” said Lewis when asked Monday if the young players would get a shot against the Texans and Ravens.
