The San Francisco 49ers announced Tuesday they've signed veteran cornerback Leon Hall - a first-round draft pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2007 who remained with the team until 2015 - to a one-year deal.
Hall worked out with the 49ers earlier this year and again last week, according to multiple reports.
San Francisco's secondary has struggled and dealt with injuries so far this season.
The 32-year-old Hall spent last season with the New York Giants. He had just one interception in 2016 after 26 in nine seasons with the Bengals.
