Following another string of injuries, the Cincinnati Bengals are adding some veteran experience to the defensive tackle group.
According to NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero, the Bengals are signing free agent defensive tackle Lawrence Guy to the 53-man roster. The Bengals just worked Guy out and apparently felt he was ready to add to what’s become a very depleted position.
This comes after the Bengals lost both BJ Hill and Sheldon Rankins to injury during Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Guy has been in the NFL since 2011 after being a seventh-round NFL Draft choice of the Green Bay Packers.
