Trey Hendrickson is the Cincinnati Bengals’ most valuable player after Joe Burrow. If it wasn’t for him, it’s fair and scary to wonder where the defense would be through four weeks.
That said, Hendrickson left the Bengals’ 34-24 win Sunday with an injury midway through the fourth quarter. On the FOX broadcast, a graphic said Hendrickson was ruled out with a neck injury. That was after Hendrickson was down on the field for several minutes with Bengals defensive teammates surrounding him in support.
After the game, head coach Zac Taylor announced that Hendrickson had a neck stinger.
