Khalil Herbert leaves Bengals for Colts

The Cincinnati Bengals won’t be keeping Khalil Herbert, who is reportedly signing with the Indianapolis Colts, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This marks the end of what was a rather disappointing tenure for Herbert in the Queen City. The Bengals traded away their seventh-round 2025 NFL Draft pick for him in the middle of last season in hopes of finding more running back depth behind Chase Brown.

However, in eight games with Cincinnati, Herbert had 28 carries for 114 yards while catching eight passes for 21.

Now, he leaves town, and the Bengals wasted a pick for pretty much nothing.
