Kenny Anderson will have to wait until next year. Again.
The legendary Bengals quarterback was again passed over by the senior committee of the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Friday.
The committee convened Friday in Canton to select the one player retired for at least 25 years who they would nominate for the Hall of Fame. They chose former Chiefs safety Johnny Robinson.
Anderson was called "the best quarterback not in" by senior committee member Rick Gosselin but the confounding wait now continues for the quarterback who led the league in passer rating four times, yardage twice, won an MVP and was the first QB to complete 70 percent of his passes in a season.
