Joe Thuney will not be coming back to Ohio.
On the first day of NFL free agency, Thuney agreed to a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s reportedly a five-year contract worth $80 million, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Arguably the best offensive lineman to hit the open market this year, Thuney finished this past season with a 74.2 Pro Football Focus grade. Not only have the Cincinnati Bengals struggled mightily at both guard spots, Thuney is also an Ohio native by way of Centerville, which isn’t even an hour drive to Cincinnati.
