The Cincinnati Bengals had an anemic running game when franchise quarterback Joe Burrow was healthy enough to benefit from having one, but that has changed with backup quarterback Jake Browning.
Zac Taylor and Brian Callahan have jump-started Joe Mixon and the run game, and they’ve done it by finally giving Chase Brown a shot at showing what he can do.
And he hasn’t disappointed.
Sunday’s win over the Colts was the first time in Brown’s career that he’s gone over 100 yards from scrimmage. He added 80 yards on three receptions, including a 54-yard touchdown catch-and-run on a screen pass, to his 25 yards on the ground.
