Former Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, who spent last season with the Denver Broncos, signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets on Friday, his agent confirmed.
In an assessment last week by ESPN NFL analysts of the best fits for remaining 2020 free agents, reporter Jeremy Fowler suggested that Flacco might make the most sense as a backup and mentor to rookie Joe Burrow for the Cincinnati Bengals.
