Joe Burrow won’t need offseason knee surgery following Super Bowl 56 injury: Report

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered another knee injury in Super Bowl 56. Early in the fourth quarter, the 25-year-old was sacked by Rams’ outside linebacker Von Miller and Burrow immediately fell to the ground and grabbed his right knee.

Burrow stayed on the field for a while before getting up and limping off the field. He opted to not enter the blue medical tent on the sidelines to seek further evaluation and went back in the game the next offensive series.

Following the game, Burrow said he would get his knee checked on when he returned to Cincinnati.
