In a sit-down interview with legendary Cincinnati Bengals quarterback now of CBS Sports and New York’s WFAN Boomer Esiason, current Cincinnati signal-caller Joe Burrow credited his former teammate and seven-time pro bowler A.J. Green for helping him adjust to the NFL.
“He doesn’t talk a lot, but when he does, you listen,” Burrow told Esiason. “A.J. helped me a lot at the beginning.”
Green, who was drafted by the Bengals with the fourth-overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, reached seven Pro Bowls, and was named Second-Team All-Pro twice in Cincinnati, played with Burrow last season before the rookie suffered a season-ending knee injury.
