The Cincinnati Bengals held Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns’ defensive line relatively in check on Sunday.
And that effort was in no small part thanks to the play of Cody Ford, who stepped in for Amarius Mims a week after starting in place of Orlando Brown Jr.
“Cody is always consistent,” QB Joe Burrow said. “Cody does a great job. He’s blocking Myles Garrett all day... Cody did an unbelievable job on him all day.”
Garrett had a sack and a QB hit, but not much else.
Burrow was appreciative of Ford’s ability to come off the bench and play so effectively.
