Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals have shaken hands on a deal.
A source informed The Enquirer, the Bengals and Burrow have reached an agreement in principle on a $36.1 million contract. The deal is pending a physical, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday. Burrow will put ink to paper upon completion of the physical, a source told The Enquirer.
The Bengals drafted Burrow No. 1 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. Burrow is Cincinnati’s first No. 1 overall pick since Carson Palmer in 2003. The 23-year-old quarterback is the first player since Cam Newton to win a Heisman Trophy, national championship and be selected No.
