It took nearly a whole month, but the Cincinnati Bengals finally got a W. It came in the form of a 34-24 road win over Andy Dalton and the Carolina Panthers in what turned into a bit of a shootout.
The Bengals appeared to take firm control of this one after taking a 31-14 lead late into the third quarter, but the Panthers made things interesting with a 10-0 run that made it a one-score game with 7:42 left in regulation.
Thankfully, the Bengals did just enough to squeak out a 10-point win and are now 1-3 heading into next week’s showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.
