The Jim Turner era in Cincinnati is coming to an end.
Elise Jesse is reporting that the Bengals are parting ways with their embattled offensive line coach, as well as defensive line coach Nick Eason and defensive assistant Gerald Chatman. ESPN reporter Ben Baby has since confirmed the news.
Football Scoop is reporting that Turner may land on his feet in the former of the Tennessee Volunteers’ next offensive line coach (Tennessee loves hiring the most unlikable coaches imaginable, so he’d fit in great there).
It was pretty much a given that several Bengals assistants would be let go following a third-straight double-digit loss season, two of which coming under Zac Taylor’s watch.
