Jay Gruden, a former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator and Washington Football Team head coach who worked in 2020 as the Jacksonville Jaguars' offensive coordinator, interviewed Tuesday for the Carolina Panthers' offensive-coordinator vacancy, according to multiple reports.
On Thursday - per a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport - Gruden is interviewing for a second time with Panthers head coach Matt Rhule.
Last month, the Panthers fired Joe Brady after two seasons as the team's OC. Brady was LSU's passing game coordinator when Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow led the Tigers to the College Football Playoff national title in 2019.
