Dax Hill wasn’t the only season-ending injury in the Cincinnati Bengals’ Week 5 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens. It has now been revealed that offensive lineman Jaxson Kirkland has also been lost for the year with a torn biceps muscle, head coach Zac Taylor announced Monday.
Kirkland played his first snaps of the 2024 season against the Ravens after rookie right tackle Amarius Mims left the game for a time with an ankle injury. Kirkland acted as the team’s extra lineman in big formations.
This also explains why the Bengals signed offensive lineman Andrew Stueber off the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad.
