James Harrison says Steelers' Mike Tomlin gave him envelope after 2010 hit vs. Browns

James Harrison, a Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker for the majority of his NFL career who played the 2013 season with the Cincinnati Bengals, said Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin handed him an envelope after his 2010 hit against Browns receiver Mohamed Massaquoi that drew a $75,000 fine.

Harrison talked about it in an interview with Steven Cheah and former Steelers teammate Willie Colon on Barstool Sports' "Going Deep" podcast.

"They were trying to make an example of me but they picked the wrong person to make an example of because I wasn't gonna sit there and quietly take it," Harrison said.
