Ja’Marr Chase and the Cincinnati Bengals fell to the Cooper Kupp and the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 56 this past February. Kupp secured the game’s go-ahead touchdown in what was an all-around fine performance for the 2021 Offensive Player of the Year.
Kupp won that award as a wide receiver not by mistake. He became the fourth receiver in NFL history to lead the league in receptions, yards, and touchdowns in a single season.
This is commonly referred to as the Triple Crown, and it’s become Chase’s new milestone to reach.
