The Cincinnati Bengals lost to the New England Patriots in their season-opening game. What stings more is that they lost at home. With Tee Higgins sidelined, Ja’Marr Chase was the star of the show but didn’t get much help from other receivers.
As the Bengals continue through the season, should Higgins continue to miss time with a hamstring injury, the team may look to a few more unknown players for production.
Jermaine Burton, a third-round pick from Alabama, could be one of them. Burton had a solid preseason but fell in the draft due to off-field issues; however, Chase recently gave nothing but praise for the young receiver.
