The Cincinnati Bengals struck gold in the 2020 NFL Draft, taking Joe Burrow, Tee Higgins, and Logan Wilson.
They continued their hand-picking of elite talent in 2021, selecting Ja’Marr Chase with the fifth overall pick when most national media was calling for them to beef up their offensive line. Chase has blossomed into a superstar alongside his collegiate quarterback.
The 24-year-old has eclipsed 1,000 yards in each of his three seasons in the NFL and has earned a Pro Bowl nomination in each as well.
Due for a contract extension in the coming future, Chase could reset the wide receiver market, much like former collegiate teammate Justin Jefferson just did.
