Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase entered Sunday's Week 18 game against the Browns in Cleveland with 1,429 yards for the season - third most in Bengals' history - needing just 12 to break Chad Johnson's single-season franchise record of 1,440 set in 2007.
Chase got to play in one more game than Ochocinco did, but he broke Chad's record on a 24-yard catch and run from backup quarterback Brandon Allen in the first quarter.
Last week, Chase's 266 yards were the most in a game by a rookie in NFL history. He had 11 catches - including three for touchdowns - in a 34-31 win in come-from-behind fashion against the Kansas City Chiefs at Paul Brown Stadium.
